Molise-The Unforgettable, Untouched Region in Italy
I’m going to open this, most significant, post about our time in Italy, by sharing with you what was our state of mind at the time. I’ve always considered myself as an adventurer, one that will explore and travel as much as possible. Until, like many other young women and men, after having my first child, I started to think I might not live the life I dreamed on.
We’ve decided, really quickly to take a trip abroad. We took our 5- month- old baby girl to her first EU experience. I can now say that stepping out of the nest, the same nest that I suddenly and unintentionally drench into, was the perfect cure for me.
I stopped feeling terrifying that my nesting phase might stick to me for eternity. We were introduced to a young man named Barak.
Barak is a very charismatic adventurer that moved to Molise after meeting his wife, Anto.
Back then he seems to be very ambitious about making tourists discover the magical piece of land he fell in love with.
What We Discover- 1st visit
Between the Adriatic sea and the dramatic view of the mountains lies the unspoiled beautiful Molise. For me, it looks like the land of leprechauns and fairies. Our Agriturismo was a beautiful stone house in the middle of an enchanted wooded area, with a flowing spring just near the back door.
It was the first time I had seen a place I wanted to call home.
Our temporary new home location: Carpinone, Province of Isernia, Molise
Where have we stayed- 2nd visit
This time we arrived after Barak opened his business. “Kolidur Travel Club”. He took us to his own Agriturismo this time around, “Casale Kolidur”, a rustic charm, stone country house built in the early 700 and renovate.
“Casale Kolidur” offers 12 superb guests rooms, an open garden, and a restaurant that serve delicious food using local fresh products.
Location: Via ospedale Guardiaregia, Province of Campobasso, Molise.
Only 40 min drive from our last visit to province Isernia.
In addition to the dazzling Agriturismo, the “Kolidur Travel Club” offers a wide range of designed original activities and holiday solutions whether you are keen for cultural tours, horse riding, hiking adventures, and even cooking classes.

For the Best Dinner in Italy
We drove to “La Grand Quercia”. The owner of this Delicious, artistic place is a very colorful man, name Mario.
The restaurant is the perfect getaway, as it located in the breathtaking valley of Carovilli. The food is heavenly. They serve handmade dishes, using local products. I recommend the steak dishes as they serve the best meat I ate in Italy.
Are You Ready to be Impressed by Santuario dell’ Addolorata?!
Located in Castelpetroso, Isernia, Molise. Making a dramatic look between the endless mountains and the sky. The chapels are shining bright at night with colored glass windows, and spikes.
Explore the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise
It is one of the rare sites that obtained recognition for the natural aspects by UNESCO. Walk around the wildlife areas, you can get close to just a touch away from the animals in the park. The museum inside it definitely worth a visit.
