Loloata Island - One Day Trip Away from POM

Loloata Island - One Day Trip Away from POM

I admit that not going out of Port Moresby can be tiring. To solve that all we needed is at least one nearby attraction, and it was quite an easy task. We found paradise only 15 minutes away from POM.

Loloata is a private small Island located 15 minutes ferryboat ride from Port Moresby. This beautiful Melanesian Isle is a diverse world of beautiful reefs.

The Island is relaxing and sunny. When you have enough of the sun you can sit in the coconut trees shade. Watch out from the falling coconuts though.

It is a place where your kids can run around and play, unlike the big city POM the environment in Loloata is not dangerous, so the kids can explore freely the nature of the Island walk around the hopping Wallabies, and the Crowned Pigeons. They can also climb easily on the Island hill with stairs leading to a beautiful view from its top.
